SSDS Week 33

This week's challenge at Scrap, Stamp & Doodle Saturdays was to use the sketch below:

This was a difficult one for me, as I typically don't embellish as much as the sketch called for...but that is what challenges are all about! Experimentation (with choice words thrown in for good measure! LOL)!

Stamps: Verve Philippians 4:13 Plain Jane
Paper: Night of Navy, Old Olive, Naturals Ivory, K&Do patterned paper
Ink: Night of Navy, Cameo Coral, Old Olive markers direct to stamp
Accessories: Robin's Nest Dew Drops, MS Butterfly Punch, Nestabilities, Stickles, Dimensionals, SU Photo Corner Punch

I hope your April Fool's was uneventful! Thankfully my husband is out of town...I escaped this year. With that said, my children are trying to fill his shoes. Only thing is they start cracking up laughing before they can finish the "trick"! It is really cute. :)

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a fabulous weekend!

I would have a hard time with that sketch, but you did it great! Love the colors and the clear dew drops!

Glad you didn't get hit too hard with any 'fools'! I remember when I was a little girl, my Mom calling my brother and I downstairs to look out the window and see the parade. She was all excited and kept pointing, telling us that they are right there (we lived on a cul de sac) and didn't we see the elephants??!! She totally got us (hey! I said I was little!!! :>) and let it go on a bit before she busted out 'April Fool's'!! Obviously, that one has had a lasting impact!!

Hope you and your fam have a good Easter!! :>

okay...don't give me this line about the challenge being difficult for you....there's no way I buy it after seeing this card. It's really well done...no evidence of 'experimentation' :)

i love kids at that age....can't hold onto a secret to save their lives :)

Awesome sketch, and your take on it is phenomenal! I keep seeing all these scripture stamps and wondering where they come from. I have found Our Daily Bread, I will check Verve out, too. I need to have a few!
