HSS Sketch: Scary Tree

Let me tell ya, it was killing me that I had not yet made a Halloween this year!! So, when the Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge called for a Fall or Halloween card based on the sketch, I pulled out one of my favorite spooky sets and got busy!

This was so much fun to make! I knew I wanted to use ribbon rather than cardstock for the strips under the image. And, may I just say...I LOVE the new Stampin' UP in-color ribbon! It feels so rich!

Stamps: SU (House of Haunts)
Paper: Basic Black, Wild Wasabi, Elegant Eggplant, Creative Memories patterned paper for the orange
Ink: Versamark with Black Embossing Powder, Black Cats Eye for over the web
Accessories: Kaiser Craft half-backed black pearls, SU Ribbon, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, dimensionals

In case you can't tell, I put the main image up on dimensionals. I also took black ink and ran it over the web for some spooky dimension. Boo!

Thanks to the ladies at HSS for another fun challenge! And I hope everyone is having a fantabulous weekend!

Your cards are just amazing girl! It's so nice to have internet again so I can catch up with what you've been doing! I won't even go there about the Niners.......ughhhhhhhhhhh another losing season, I can't handle it! I lost my direct tv when we moved, so I don't have the NFL ticket anymore. Maybe that's a good thing. :) xOxO
