Confessions of a Naughty Stamper

Oh my...I hope that blog post title does not get some strange riff-raff viewing my blog. LOL :)

Soooo...a while back I had some pictures reprinted with the intention of making cards out of them. I got the idea from an old back issue of Paper Crafts. At any rate, I had not fully intended to use them as the entire card front, but I could not bear to cut them down any more. And they came together in only 10 minutes!

Herein lies my confession: I did not use ANY INK on this card. None. Zip. Zilch.
And you know what? I am enamored with it! Curses.

Hey, at least I am using my paper! :)

Photo was taken by me in Miyajima, Japan. Paper is SU: Old Olive, Basic Black and Soft Suede. Brads are SU.

I made 5 different styles of this card with different pictures and embellishments. I will post the rest later on. :)

As a side, I am getting ready to leave for my High School reunion! I am so jazzed...a solo trip to the US, getting to see my old friends, shopping, chain restaurants, shopping, good food, shopping, In & Out Burger. Oh, did I happen to mention shopping? :)

I promise to catch up once I get back. Thanks for taking a minute to check in on me.

Paper Challenge: 12 cards made for a total of 97/100 projects complete!!

What a great idea. I've never used a picture for the front of a card, but this is just fabulous!

That is a great idea. I hope you have a nice trip. You are completely blowing me out of the water with the paper challenge, I think I'm in the low thirties. . . but I've resisted so far and that's the longest stretch ever for me . . . and it is a nice card, I like it too.

the card is fantastic and the photo is so interesting. I can see why you enjoyed this medium for a change. But you'll go back to ink eventually. A good stampers never dies!!!

Hey you can't start a new addiction! You are the one trying to help me break one, right? I'm doing so well not buying any paper! So no, no, no -- no new addictions (my guess is ribbon, is it ribbon?)
