Gator Bait

So my blog buddy Jennipher asked me to post some scrapbook layouts. I think I don't post them regularly because 1) my scrapbooking is so neglected and 2) I am a total CAS scrapper and I don't think my pages compare to many others out there.

With that said, I had a blast making these pages...and yes, they are pictures from our summer vacation in 2008! Don't be a hater! I am so behind! :) My in-laws live in Saint Augustine and each time we visit, we hit the Alligator Farm! The park is really cool and my kids love it!

I am having fun following my favorite "recipe" books by Becky Higgins and Creating Keepsakes. White space is something I am finding I really love on my pages! (I would not be caught dead with white space 5 years ago! LOL)

Since I did not plan on posting these, I have no idea what supplies I even used! It all came from my endless stash though! And yay...scrapbooking uses up so much more paper! :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Great pages! I like the rounded corner on the second page! Well, I am more behind than you I am still working on baby photos and my youngest is 19.

Great layout! I've always leaned toward the less is more approach with my scrapbooking. I really want the pictures and story shine. Your layout does that! Thanks for sharing.

Love your pages. I love the pic of the kids holding the snake. My hubby and i love reptiles. and that is one big ball python they are holding. :)

I know a person who lives in my town that has an alligator in thier basement. And its huge. we went over there to see a snake they were selling and they showed it to us. they have this huge set up that takes up over half thier basment and any doors to the enclousure is double duty strength and padlocked shut because of the kids. they had a baby one too and thats the first one we seen then she turned the light on and a giant rawr came out. LOL! sure made us turn around in aww.

What a fun page. I can just hear the children squealing in the first pic. Adorable. Great page layout. I like the white spaces too. I know what you mean though about getting used to having them...ditto. Your pages are fabulous. Thanks for going ahead and sharing them.

Absolutely adorable card below this post too. Love all the details...leaves, pearls, curly ribbon...the image is fabulous and the color combo is just dreamy. Love it all....
