Pretty, Pretty Paper

I have a problem with paper. Pretty, pretty paper that I don't want to slaughter...I mean cut into...because it is so pretty. :) It only makes sense that this week's Use It Tuesday would be to cut into that paper, right? I mean, how can I make a fun challenge that would not be applicable to me and yet painful at the same time? ;)

I dusted off the DCWV Rockstar Mat Stack I have owned for longer than I care to admit and got to work. I chose this pretty, pretty piece with gorgeous flocking and layered it on a coordinating pattern out of the same pack! So I used 2 pieces of uncut paper! Yup, I am just a little proud of myself!

I would love for you to head over to Use It Tuesday and play along! Our challenges are open for 10 days so you have no excuse not to play! I know you have the pretty, pretty paper stash! ;)

Stamps: Sentiment from StampingBella
Paper: DCWV Rockstar, SU Early Espresso and Very Vanilla
Ink: Versamark and Early Espresso
Accessories: Seam Binding Ribbon (SU), Rhinestones

Yes! Love this challenge! I definitely have a "few" sheets of paper like that, lol :)
LOVE your card! Good job cutting into that paper! It's painful to make the move, but once you do, it feels good to put it to good use, right?

OH I'M so glad you murdered that paper! It totally rocks! I love that. I was ready to ask you what you flocked it with!

thank you for your questions about my great-niece. She does like anything artsy. They are still pulling together art for her walls too. So that would be appreciated if sending supplies is a hardship. My sister said she's such a sweet girl and always so grateful for anything.

I love that paper.....and i know what you mean about slaughtering the pretty pretty paper. Half my paper was bought cuz it was pretty and i told myself i would find a use for it. Im convinced i have to plaster it on my wall for inspiration.

well this summer i bit the bullet and got rid of more than half my stash of Decorated Papers. I had 2 cropper hopper bins full of it and i know half would never see ink or adhesive so i took it in on cconsignment.

Great use of that flocked paper! I have no problem cutting into new paper, however, I buy way more than I can use LOL!

Wow I have some paper just like that. I think I may have to take your lead and make something with those to challenge myself. Great job!

Very pretty. I thought at first that you had stamped the image. Way cool that it was part of the paper.
