As I typed the post title I thought how cute it would have been to add the letter "u" on the heart! Meh. You get it as is! ;)
The inspiration for this card came from the challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments to use die cuts as the focus of your card! I ran for my SU Hearts & Brackets die (which I seem to use more than other die I own!). I also decided to try out my PTI pocket die that DH got me for Christmas. :)

Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Poppy, Naturals Ivory
Ink: Versafine Black, Versamark
Accessories: Clear and Iridescent ice embossing powder, Poppy ribbon, CTMH Sprinkles, Heart & Brackets die, PTI pocket die

Yes, it's my nephew's daughter that's in the hospital. We just found out that after the surgery, she will have to live close to the facility for six months. So I'm organizing a fund raiser to help pay for a rental house in the city. We were doing one anyway in her name for CF research... so we are changing the cards a bit and anything left after the rental will go to research.

LOVE the color combo! I really like the sentiment, it reminds me of the Ali Edwards font. The sparkle really makes the card. So good to see you at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week.

Very pretty! I have that die too and my advice is to try not to use it on vellum, it cuts too deeply. Looks great in the colors you chose, nice!
