SSDS 26: Admit It, Valentine!

I had so much fun playing in challenges last week, that I decided to give it a go with Scrap, Stamp & Doodle Saturdays again! This week their challenge was to create a Valentine's Day creation without using red!

I knew immediately what stamp set I wanted to use! Last month I was so excited to be able to earn a Level 2 Hostess Set on my Sale A Bration order, as I had been wanting Admit It since the SU catalog came out. And yes, I will admit it...I LOVE making CAS cards! Rarely do they work out well for me...but I think this time I have one even Cupid would love!

This card was easey-peasey. Used the Cricut to cut the hearts, ran them through the Big Shot with my Cuttlebug Embossing folders, distressed with some white ink and done!

I am still learning how to use my Mac. I have all the normal stuff down-pat, just need to play more in iPhoto. For some reason, I could not get the color correct nicely. For those that know the SU colors, I used Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry for the hearts. They do not look near as vibrant on here as they do IRL. :(

Stamps: Admit It (SU), Vintage Picnic Sentiments (PTI)
Paper: Kraft, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Kraft DSP
Ink: Versamark, Verafine Black, Cats Eye Alabaster
Accessories: Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls, Swiss Dots, Heart Punch, Melon Mambo Ribbon, button, Linen Thread, Embossing Powder

Don't worry...I still have LOTS of Fall/Holiday cards to post from when my computer was shot! ;) I think I will have to do a Christmas in July special on my blog!

Thanks for stopping by today!

How cute. I love the way you used that ticket-ingenious!! And what a great idea to emboss the flowers-I think those are my 2 favorite folders.

Lovely card. Too bad it doesn't look like that anymore. KK asked me where I got the ticket stamp and I told her she has to ask you. Now I see I will never get this one.

Easy peasies are most often the real stunners -- this is no exception. -- leastwise in my case -- the more I fuss the more I mess up! Cupid likes this card and it is Martha and Son approved too!
