Holiday Tags

The turkey had settled in. I was feeling lazy, so I decided to check Facebook. Mistake #1!

Now, it was not Facebook's fault, but my laptop started acting "funny". Hearing the primal scream, my DH rushed in to see what was the matter.

Yes, dear friends, I had the black screen of death.

**sigh**

After many, many hours with Sony online support (useless), DH managed to get it operating again! He is my computer Superman! XOXO

The irony of the whole situation is that Santa was bringing me an external hard drive for Christmas! Needless to say, that was a gift that got opened early!

As I was sitting here waiting for all my files to back-up, I decided to pop out a few little gift cards. You know, the kind you just put on a gift bag. I thought they would be perfect for those teacher and bus driver gifts.

I am happy to report I used a rainbow of product to make these tags! All of the paper is SU, but the stamps are CTMH, TAC and SU. It is like one big happy family in my craft room!

I hope all my American friends enjoyed their Holiday weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Lol! Sorry.......not laughing at the dead computer, but how you told your story. I have an external harddrive on my wish list too....hope I don't need it early! Ack! Glad you had a way to restore everything!

Cute gift cards! I started working on Christmas tags over a month ago and then got side tracked. I really need to get back to them. Now, if I can just remember where I put the half done stack................sigh.

What cute little cards! I am so glad your computer is working again. We don't know how much we count on them until they are out of commission. Yay for your DH for saving the day!

Ooooh those are adorable! I feel your pain when it comes to computer problems. DH had to reload my laptop recently. At least I was able to back everything up onto cd's before it completely died. Thank goodness I have my own personal computer geek. (he's a programmer). I wouldn't know what to do without him. LOL

Thought I would just give you a little heads up that as I am sitting here typing this I am having mild contractions.... fingers crossed it's the real thing.
