Thanks for all the comments on my son's projects in the post below! You should have seen his face reading them...it was adorable! You girls are the best!
As promised, here is something made by a person who is over 10. :)
I found myself in need of some sympathy cards recently. I don't keep any on hand, which is silly really. I mean, these cards are always needed on a moment's notice, aren't they?
I wanted something simple but elegant, so I pulled out my acetate sheets and some sheer ribbon. What do you think?
Stamps: Close as a Memory (SU)
Paper: Confetti Cream, Perfect Plum, Close to Cocoa, Acetate
Ink: SU Markers to stamp in Perfect Plum, Mellow Moss, Close to Cocoa for sentiment
Accessories: SU sheer ribbon
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Thanks for dropping by!

I love this! You know... I have added acetate to a card but have never made a card with acetate as a base and I love they way they look!!! Your image is perfect for a sympathy card... they are hard to make and we should keep some on hand but I like you don't! This will be soo appreciated!
What a great card. I may have to case this someday.
Very elegant! I love acetate cards but never make them. I love the saying on your card. Great sympathy card
I haven't made any cards like this, yours looks really nice. I like the more muted colors for a sympathy card.
I'm glad your son was happy, I know when I let J & S post their creations, they will sit and read the comments over and over. It's great to encourage young and developing talent.
I have never used acetate for a base of a card...very nice job.
Sympathy cards are so difficult to do. You did a great job. The colours are perfect.
That is beautiful. And so true about sympathy cards-I automatically make thank yous almost every time. Love the acetate card base!
Great card!
Great card! I love the acetate cards!
Perfect! I am really enjoying seeing acetate cards lately. I have yet to try one though. I just love the lightness of this for a sympathy card, perfect for someone going through something much 'heavier'!
Um, I think it's getting CASED, that's what I think! The acetate is something I have never considered with this set! It looks very elegant, and I love the ribbon!
Another pretty card. I just love how this one came together.
