Giddy Up!

I had this vision in my head of how I wanted this card to turn out. Unfortunately, this was the end result! LOL

No matter what I do, I just can't work it for some reason. I think it is the horseshoes. I wish I had some horseshoe brads...shocking there is something I don't already own! :)

Good news is that my 7 year old DD absolutely loves this card, so it has a loving home!

Stamps: TAC Happy Trails, SU Sanded
Paper: Kraft, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Versamark
Accessories: Brads, Hemp, the obnoxious blue embossing powder

Thanks for stopping by!

I really like how you used the twine and the "window" effect. Cut eon how you described your embossing powder, btw!

Okay, you really made me laugh out loud! So often I have a picture in my head of the end result I desire with a card and then . . . bloop. There's what I made! Not what is in my head! :) But I like this card too, so it would have a home with me! And yes, I find it hard to believe that I also, own no horseshoe shaped brads, what is up with that! A need to go shopping again obviously! :)

Well, I don't know how you visualized it, but FWIW, I really like it. I know what you mean though, it's really frustrating when you can't get your vision to come out on paper!

I live in Arizona -- and I say that this is a great Giddy Up card -- in fact I am just "giddy" over it......

I think this card looks great. The lasso and the little horse shoes turned out great. My daughter's are big horse lovers too.

I really love the torn frame around the horse and the twine lasso. Great job on this!

I love your lasso effect!!! And the window, with the horse peeping through, kind of like a horse stall is great too! :>

I do like this card. I agree...maybe a brassy type horseshoe would go better, but I do like the ruff edges around the window for the image. Nice!

I actually think it looks very nice. I would have done silver horseshoes, but besides that, I wouldn't have changed a thing!!!
