So, we were on our way to school this morning for the beginning of the year "meet and greet". As we were driving, my 8 year old son asked me where we going.
"To school," I replied, "We get to meet your new teacher!"
"Mom", he said...dragging it out for dramatic effect, "I didn't have time to work on my first impression! They are very important, you know."
